FAQs

We are open from noon til 1am every day, with the exception of closing on Christmas Day; and we open at 6pm (with no kitchen) on Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

We have free wi-fi throughout.

Our licence dictates that we are not allowed under-5's on the premises, but are allowed 5-17 year olds in the restaurant room or outside tables, if eating and accompanied by an adult; until 10pm.

Villager is happy to take drinks-only bookings Sunday to Thursday, but Friday and Saturdays are dining reservations only.

Dining bookings of 10 or more are required to order from the set lunch or set dinner menus.  Our biggest table (at a squeeze!) is 14, any bigger reservations will need split into other areas of our restaurant room.

Villager is the same operators as www.thevoodoorooms.com; if we can't accommodate a booking here, we are happy to enquire on your behalf at The Voodoo Rooms.

We have a policy of not allowing entry to stag or hen groups.

Villager has DJs playing in the bar room most weekend nights, but we keep the volume low in the restaurant room until dinner service is finished.

Our Christmas menu is available from the 1st of December until Christmas Eve.  All Christmas bookings require a £5 per person deposit.

People often ask about the art we have on our walls. The stencil work is by www.wearepanel.co.uk; the pictures behind bar and in restaurant window are by www.akaelph.com; and the panels at the top of the bar gantry are www.susiewright.co.uk.
